“Our story began on 7/8/14 at Canopy Roads Cafe. We were both new to Tallahassee and had a love for brunch, so Canopy Roads seemed like the perfect place. We immediately connected while discussing our love of rescue animals, Florida beaches (we’re both from up north so the Florida panhandle is very special to us), and traveling. It was in those first moments we knew there was chemistry between us. In fact, Bryan says that he knew when he left that first date that I was the girl he was going to marry! (Cue the tears!) Flash forward to October 2018, Bryan had an amazingly romantic engagement surprise planned for Central Park on paddle boats in New York (my Home state) - he had coordinated the entire proposal with my sister. Unfortunately, due to Hurricane Michael that fall New York trip never happened. On December 21st, I came home after a long day at work to an amazing candlelight dinner Bryan put together. Our favorite song, “Unforgettable” by Nat King Cole was playing. All of a sudden Bryan turned on our pool lights where a huge sign made out of Christmas lights displayed “Will you  Me?” It was in that moment that everything in my world made sense and I knew I couldn’t wait to marry the man of my dreams! Our wedding will be at Belhurst Castle in New York on July 5, 2020 surrounded by our family, friends, and of course our beloved rescue pups.”
